Problem: When using msconfig you get access denied

This can be caused by HP drivers

Workaround: Edit the registry (Be very careful in this area)

1. Click --> Start --> Run --> regedit
2. Export the registry to make a backup
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet
/Services/Pml Driver HPZ12/Start
4. Right click and select modify
5. Change the value to 4
6. If the above did not work for you, search the registry
for HPZ12 and delete every thng you find.
7. Restart the computer and your good to go.



Is MS Word Freezing when starting?

This can be caused by a corrupted template.

Workaround: Search for and delete normal.dot

Restart MS Word.


Trouble finding content on large web page?
Push Ctrl+F on your keyboard a find next window will open, enter your keyword.
This works on IE6.
On Fire Fox "find" will appear in the lower left corner of your browser.
